3. User Accounts, Registration & Self-Service Rights
You do not need an account to read public financial stories or use our calculators. However, creating an account unlocks features such as custom reading lists, saved articles, and author submission access.
- Legitimate Email Required: You must supply a genuine, active email address verified via a 6-digit One-Time Password (OTP). The use of temporary, disposable, or burner email domains is strictly forbidden and automatically blocked.
- Password Security: You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Passwords on Finox World are hashed using high-grade PBKDF2 encryption with random salt.
- Self-Service Password Change: You can update your password at any time from your account dashboard (Profile & Security Settings).
- Self-Service Account Deletion: You have the permanent right under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 to delete your account. Initiating account deletion from your dashboard permanently erases your profile, sessions, and saved reading bookmarks from our live database immediately.

7. Governing Law & Grievance Redressal
